Tebelopele College is an establishment that has been registered with the Registrar of companies in 2019 with the view to create an excellent student experience by providing innovative educational environment and opportunities through the establishment of partnerships and maintaining good stakeholder relations in support of an effectual education system.
The Tebelopele College started off as Training Institute, first registered with the Botswana Training Authority in 2004. The Institution then provided short courses in Counselling at level 2 and Level 3. The Training Institute has since trained healthcare professionals on different aspects of HIV service delivery, supplying Government, private sector and civil society with over 70% of HCT service providers (counsellors, lay counsellors & peer educators).
The Training Institute was started with a view to impart skills and knowledge to Batswana, with regards to Community Health Service Provision, of which Tebelopele has amassed the experience thereof over time and to ensure continuity of services for Batswana beyond donor funding. Tebelopele Training Institute embraced an evidenced based approach to its training program.
The Tebelopele College wishes to operate with a goal of providing education and training that produce professionals who are relevant to the needs of Botswana and the international community.
