Tebelopele is a non –profit health and wellness organization dedicated to protecting and improving the lives of communities across Botswana for over 20 years .Tebelopele facilities are situated in 18 locations serving residents in rural, urban and town. In August 2018, Tebelopele became Botswana’s first and largest non- profit HIV Testing to integrated HIV-SRH services which includes HIV and STI screening and treatment, TB screening , Family planning. Pre Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) and Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP).

Tebelopele aims at providing tailored, integrated facility specific support to close the gaps related to HIV/AIDS, treatment and care, particularly among AGYW and men. The expected outcomes will be based on project Key results areas. Through the USAID award Tebelopele will implement a client centred integrated prevention, care and treatment program that will support service delivery towards reaching HIV epidemic control. To achieve this, the activity will focus on the following four

  • Key Result Areas: 1) : To foster early detection of infection and to address the gaps in testing (especially among men and youth) 2) To enhance early linkage to care and treatment to persons newly identified as HIV positive 3) Increased Adherence, Retention and Sustained Viral Load Suppression for HIV and TB Patients on Treatment and 4) Scaling Preventive Strategies to Combat HIV Infection among Population at Risk.The expected outcomes will be based on the program description Key results areas with geographic focus of the Activity including Tebelopele facilities in Gaborone, Kweneng East, and

SOCIAL MARKETING OFFICER (1) – GABORONE

Reporting directly to the Business Development Manager, theSocial Marketing Officer is responsible for growing audiences on social podiums including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram. Along with sustaining a posting schedule, he or she will also regularly create platform-specific content together with text posts, videos, and graphics. The candidate will be combining marketing and social media management skills to architect and enhance company social media presences, including interacting with clients, promoting brand-focused interactive and engaging content, and expanding opportunities

1.1 OVERALL PURPOSE

  • Develop and implement a content framework for managing social content development, publishing, amplification, and measurement of messages
  • Create and develop new innovative ways to communicate the organisation message
  • Develop a marketing strategy in line with organisation objectives.
  • Create and publish all marketing materials in line with marketing plans
  • Analyse the impact of marketing campaigns and prepare measurement reports
  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant organisation functions are kept informed of marketing objectives
  • Write, edit and proof-read marketing material for use in different channels
  • Oversee and update the website(s).
  • Collects customer data and analyses interactions and visits, plus uses this information to create comprehensive reports and improve future marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Reports progress to Business Development Manager
  • Grows and expands company social media presence into new social media platforms, plus increases presence on existing platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram

1.3 EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Management/Administration and a post graduate qualification in a related field will be an added advantage
  • Experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies
  • Technical marketing skills
  • Proven experience in customer and market research
  • Relevant product and industry knowledge
  • Experience with relevant software applications
  • Must have a driving license

1.4 SKILLS,KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • 2 years+ Experience working in HIV/AIDS or Health related marketing activities preferable.
  • The candidate must have strong brand and marketing skills (experience with B2B and B2C preferred).
  • A passion for cause-based marketing that focused on positive behaviour change
