Introduction
Ms Portia Chengeta is a Certified Chartered Accountant currently holding the position of a Chief Accountant at Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA). A passionate and result oriented Accountant, with over 23 years of experience in different organizations ranging from Banking, External Audit, Education and Public Procurement.
Qualifications
Ms Chengeta is fellow member of Botswana Institute of Certified Accountants (BICA) and Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA), She also holds Masters in Business Administration (MBA) attained in 2014 as well as Management Development Programme with the University of Stellenbosch completed in 2016.
Board Experience
She joined Tebelopele Voluntary Counselling and Testing Centres as a Board member in August 2022 bringing a wealth of experience in the accounting and public procurement sphere. Ms Chengeta’s skills repertoire has been enhanced specifically on Corporate Governance through her exposure and experience in the foregoing.
